Jose Lopez Masso, Vice President of Development for the Lighthouse of Broward appeared on The Cooking Without Looking TV Show shortly after he went totally blind.
Soon after that, we worked together, along with a local TV station, to go after a major national fast food chain to teach them that guide dogs ARE allowed in restaurants. They vowed to teach their employees that fact as well.

But, at about age 5, he was playing on the playground and ran into a bunch of equipment.
After that, his parents noticed something wasn't quite right. He had detached retinas and has lived blind.
